The goal of this 2 hour intensive is for you to become more familiar with alignment, engagement and become confident in your ability to (or one day to) shoulder mount. You can look forward to specific strengthening exercises, preparations and progressions leading up to a full mount. This intensive is for anyone wanting to learn or refine their shoulder mount. Dance elements will also be incorporated. *Must have the strength to climb, pole hold and basic invert.

In this 4 Week Series you will be guided through a variety of exercises that will be executed in sets and repetitions. Focus on proper alignment and muscle engagement will be taught in order to aid in the growth of body awareness, mobility and strength. Each week will be a different area of focus (upper body, lower body, core etc...)

This class will be especially helpful for learning how to engage and condition specific muscle groups. You will begin with a light warm-up to settle into your body, then move into some exercises that will benefit your dance technique (lines, shapes, stability), afterwards you will be guided through conditioning work that will benefit you as a pole dancer and contribute to your overall durability. Lastly, you will finish with passive and feel good stretches.

This class is designed to assist in all things dance! Learn how to strengthen your body to attain beautiful lines, confidence in heels, balances and splitty shapes. Mat, Yoga Block, Band & Light Weight required. Pole may be required but can be substituted for wall or chair. ALL LEVELS!
