Trained professionally and competitively from childhood through adolescence, she went on to study dance and other commercial art forms in college before expanding her performance career as a burlesque entertainer and club dancer. Thirteen years ago, she discovered pole dance and became captivated by its unique fusion of artistry and strength. A lifelong performer in competitions, shows, and clubs, Tia has always loved the stage—but her deepest passion lies in teaching and creating. Known for never being able to end a class on time, she pours her energy into helping students understand proper engagement and technique, while reminding them that grace and beauty in dance do not require extreme strength or flexibility. Inspired by her students and guided by the motto “mistakes are the mother of creation,” she believes every stumble can spark something new. As both an artist and an athlete, Tia strives to remain authentic to her own conversation and abilities.
